Well,
It seems that I have to put my pic taking on the"backburner" for this week as the only time that Me and My friend could go anywhere is this upcoming saturday and that is when the weather around here is going to get rather wet and that is no good for a digicam!
I have been taking pics of the local doves outside of our apartment complex to get back in the habit of focal lengths and other such stuff but,there were no good shots in the lot and most were just multiple shots of the same bird doing nothing....as boring as watching "Snail Racers Of the Salt Flat Massacre"

My life is finaly getting out of the winter doldrums and everything is starting to look green again(pun intended)
Time to drag the 'ol camera out and start the creative side working again.We had a pretty bad ice storm here and there is a lot of nature
that has been changed...some of the trees I might have in the older pics may just have been(sadly)victims of Mother Nature and her temper tantrums...though a lot have been spared too.

or C.A.R.D.I.S for short is somewhat runnng as I type this and most of my extended family(read as very good friends) is doing fine,except for one Tragic case.
One of the people I have known since my teens has been diagnosed with a "wildfire" type of brain cancer.It's already stolen the person we knew as she no longer can remember anything for any length of time...But, I shall rememeber her as she was,and not as she is.it's more of a fitting tribute to a person..at least that is My philosphy.
Anyhoo, My appoligies for dumping a load of my troubles on you..

I'm starting to cobble together a small story and i'm hoping me writers block(the size of the berlin wall) won't crop up again halfway through.

Ah, Spring has Sprung and Fall has Fallen!
Time to whip out the 'ol camera and get this Picmania calmed down a bit! not much else to report..the C.A.R.D.I.S (Can't Actually Reach Destination In Style) has the normal problems, and our bills are crunching what money we have...same 'ol same 'ol

Bout the only thing different is My wife,Patti has gotten a job working as an nurses aid and is now working at $9.73cents an Hour....!

(we might be able to aford a gallon of gas eventually!)
